Once for Twice.
Reasons to be happy.
1. Mrs ong suddenly gave me a pair of red spectacles during afternoon assembly. i took a long 5 sec to actually figure out that that was the specs i lost long time ago and had always wanted it back. YAY!
2. My fancy dish is finally done! only got red n green. glad i got green. after like so many weeks, its finally done! all the cutting, filing, sandpapering, buffing
i din buff. many others too. no time, the whole process is done!
Lets talk about how u make the fancy dish.
Firstly u take a square piece of acrylic plastic. then draw a complete and accurate circle.
Cut the plastic according to the line. You can cut a lil out of the line cos u can file it later.
If u cut inside the line by accident, u have to file everything till it looks more like a circle.
After that, u can file file file until as round as possible.
After that wet a piece of sandpaper and sand it. drag against it lah i mean. So it's smooth.
Then if u want, u can buff it with the buffing machine. make it shiny and even smoother.
But not very neccessary to me. Cos no one had the time to buff.
And everyone's fancy dish looked perfectly fine without the buffing.
After everything, u have to peel of the brown paper sticked on the plastic.
Then put inside oven. 250 degrees seh!
Then put inside for a min.
Wear gloves.
Then after one min. take out. its damn hot!
Then quickly place it on the thingy.
dunno is wad lah.
then u use this thingy to press in the middle.
Then the circumference will be curled by a few little sticks pokin out.
Lastly quickly go rinse the dish with water from the tap.
Let it cool down.
