Once for Twice.
Today's the first time i stepped into a badly burnt house.
Sadly, it's actually my dad's side cousin's house.
You know, in the walls of your house,
beneath the paint, is a coat of cement.
And beneath the coat of cement, are the bricks.
It was so badly burnt that the bricks were exposing!
It all started when my cousin, Ruth was alone at home.
She was watching TV, which was a very old one, in the master bedroom.
And then suddenly, she saw thick smoke coming out from the TV.
Flames started to appear.
Ruth panicked, but thank God, she was smart enough to do the right thing.
Off the TV and run to the neighbours for help.
But she forgot to close the door.
Which resulted in the fire spreading to the whole house.
Ruth knocked on the nearest neighbour's door frantically.
Apparently, that neighbour was a retired fireman.
But he was sleeping at that time and he didnt hear the knockings.
And then she went to other neighbours who helped to dial '995'.
&& yada yada.
Seriously, we should thank God as no one was hurt and that Ruth had the mindset to immediately call for help, rather than crying.
What if Ruth fell asleep while watching TV?
Everyone would know what the ending would be.
We should really thank God for everything (:
What I find most amazing is this.
This thing contains the words from a chapter of the bible.
It was totally undamaged. (:
